The micro-conductivity level has shown a significant improvement, decreasing from 51.6 μS to 6.87 μS, which brings the value much closer to the required standard. This reading can generally be considered acceptable, noting that minor variations in water temperature may cause slight fluctuations above or below the measured value.
It is important to highlight that the elevated chloride level in the hospital’s raw water continues to influence the conductivity. Should there be a strict requirement to meet the DI/RO standard without any tolerance, the installation of a deionizer (DI) filter could be considered. However, we do not recommend this option, as it introduces additional system complexity and increases the operational cost due to the frequent replacement of consumables.
Despite the improvement, the chloride concentration remains higher than the standard requirement. This condition is directly linked to the high chloride present in the raw water supplied to the system. For this reason, and considering the raw water limitations, we recommend accepting the current chloride level as the practically achievable value under the existing conditions.
To ensure stable system performance, we strongly advise maintaining all consumables of the water treatment system. Neglecting these items may result in increased conductivity, higher chloride passage, and further deterioration of system efficiency.
